Mission Statement

I hope that you will find our website helpful in introducing you to the Crescent City Seventh-day Adventist Christian School.

Inside Classroom 2

The center of what we do, daily, is the classroom.  Our  school’s culture is one of kindness, respect, and generosity which  helps foster an ethos rooted in partnership and collaboration. From 1st to 8th grade, the curiosity, energy, and passion of our kids radiates throughout the school. We expect our students to take their academic responsibilities seriously but to possess sufficient humility so that they can laugh and not take themselves too seriously. We expect those very same classrooms to be defined by respectfulness and civility. In fact, we aim to be a community that strives for its students to seek academic and personal excellence. Above all though, we seek to develop within each student a personal and active faith in God.

Mission Statement

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.

Crescent City Seventh-day Adventist Christian School exists to provide a school atmosphere and curriculum that enhances student opportunities to intimately know God and His son, Jesus, on a personal basis.  “And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ.” John 17:3.

As students come to know Jesus as their best Friend, it allows them to discover and implement God’s plan for their lives.  This friendship enables them to harmoniously develop their spiritual, mental, social, and physical powers.  As they develop these different powers they will recognize that true education enables them to be thinkers, not merely reflectors of others’ thoughts.

Our Philosophy

The principal goal of Crescent City Seventh-day Adventist Christian School is to develop a Christ-like character in each student and to guide each child by pointing him or her to Jesus daily.  We strive to help them develop in themselves a stronger mind, body, and spirit so they may be of service to others.

Keeping Christ at the heart of our curriculum is the reason for our existence.  Seventh-day Adventist Christian education, at its core, empowers students with Christ’s help to make positive life choices.
